This is a new conditioner from the the V05 brand that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE! It is a staple among my hair products and actually neck and neck with the V05 Strawberries and Cream Moisture Milk Conditioner that I always keep stashed. This Shea Cashmere conditioner made the cut for several reasons:
* It is a SUPERB detangler
* The SMELL IS AWESOME, a soft vanilla scent
* Can't beat the price...it only cost me $0.84 at my local Wal-Mart
* When used as a co-wash, my hair is left very soft & moisturzed

The first several ingredients are: water, cetyl alcohol, stearalkonium chloride, shea butter, panthenol, hydrolyzed keratin, tocopheryl acetate, ascorbic acid, biotin and the list goes on. I'm not overly particular when it comes to my hair products be natural, but this works for me because it doesn't have silicones, which I prefer in my co-wash products. Bott

The search for a good shampoo is over! Hands down, Bobeam (bo-bee-um) is for me. I feel like Scarlett from Gone with the Wind, "as God as my witness, I'll never use any other shampoo on my head again." I'm for serious. These shampoo bars are WonderFreakinFUL and are now a permanent part of my hair routine. Here are some of the main reason why I LUV'em so much:

- They are Super Duper moisturizing, but very cleansing. Doesn't strip my hair, but leaves it and my scalp nice and clean.
- These bad boys give slip! Like, I can run my fingers through my hair while shampooing!
- It doesn't take much to get a nice, thick lather.
- They don't have a strong smell. In fact, they are practically unscented, which is a plus in my book.
- They're inexpensive, but made with good, wholesome, natural ingredients.

Laquita, who is the owner of Bobeam, is very nice and has excellent customer service. She communicates with you, gives useful advice on how to use the shampoo bars and is just a pleasure to do business with. My whole buying experience has been smooth from beginning to end. So far, I've used the Coco Olive, Goats Milk & Honey, Cheris Hibiscus and Oats & Honey Shampoo bars and ALL of them are superb in quality and consistent in results.

I realized that December is almost over and I haven't done a product review since the beginning of November! Shame on me! So, without further ado, here is my review of Pura Body Naturals Chocolate Hair Smoothie:

PBN's Description: Mmmmm... A chocolate treat for your hair. Cupuacu and chocolate to nourish and condition dry, brittle hair.  A rich blend of oils and cocoa powder designed to be a sweet decadent treat for your hair. Chocolate goodness for your hair.  Great boost of vitamins and minerals for soft, nourished hair.

Ingredients: Water, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Cetyl Alcohol, Theobroma Grandiflorum (Cupuacu) Butter, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Ricinoleamido-propyltrimonium Methosulfate, Imidazolium Quat. Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Lecithin, Vegatable Glycerin, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Hydrolyzed Silk, Cocoa Powder, D-panthenol Phenoxyethanol, and Capryl Glycol

My Thoughts: THE BEST DEEP CONDITIONER I'VE USED SO FAR! For a year, I've been looking for something just like what I found using the Chocolate Hair Smoothie. I apply it to clean, wet hair, sit under the steamer for 20 minutes and the results are phenomonal! Soft, shiny, well-conditioned hair that is super easy to detangle. I mean, I have no words to describe how easy this stuff makes it for me to detangle my hair. I do, however, have a word of caution for you...The smell is GLORIOUS! I don't recommend holding it too close to your face because you may be tempted to eat it. It smells just like chocolate pudding, looks like chocolate pudding and feels like chocolate pudding...in your hands, not mouth. Anyways, bottom line, this is a keeper!

My product junkism kicked in again recently and while in Walgreens for something totally unrelated to hair, I came across these lovely items. I've been wanting to try a braid out on my TWA and decided I would use these products to accomplish it. Since I was going to be doing a braid out on my hair while it was dry (I'll be posting a "how to" on this soon), I felt that the Protective Mist Bodifier would be more useful than The Great Detangler that I also purchased. So without further ado, here are my results!
NICE RIGHT?! I was VERY, VERY pleased with the results. My hair was a breeze to detangle and the cream left my strands moisturized, well defined and soft!

Protective Mist Bodifier: The bottles says that it is a daily leave-in conditioner. Can also be used for comb-outs and detangling curly hair. Use on wet or dry hair. It coats, protects and softens the curl pattern. This results in easier to comb hair as well as longer lasting styles. Ingredients include: deionized water, wheat germ extract, aloe vera , olive oil, silk amino acid, bay laurel extract and more.

Curly Curl Cream: Says that that its a non-greasy herbal hair cream that revitalizeds cursland eliminates frizz. Controls ans nourishes hair while adding shine and moisture. Holds hair and styles in place. Ingredients include: deionized water, peg-75 shea butter, sage extract, DMDM Hydantoin, Vegetable Glycerin, Burdoc Protein and more.

Next time I'm going to try using THE DETANGLER and the CURLY CURL CREAM by themselves for a wash-n-go, so stay tuned.

PBN's Description: Murumuru Moisture Milk is a lightweight water based moisturizer which can be used as a daily moisturizer for those in need of  moisture and sheen.  It can also be used a leave-in conditioner to moisture and help maintain soft healthy hair.

Murumuru Butter is grown in the depths of the Amazon and has been known its anti-inflammatory and bactericide properties.  It's rich oleic acid content promotes nutrition and moisture to skin and hair.  Murumuru acts as an excellent emollient properties along with its natural gloss brings a desirable shine to dry, damaged hair.  It's specifically useful for people of all ethnicities with kinky, curly, or wavy hair because of it's emollient abilities to increase manageability.  This product can be applied to chemically processed hair as well to increase moisture content and sheen.

Ingredients:
water, murumuru butter, BTMS (behentrimonium sulfate and cetearyl alcohol), castor bean oil, palm oil, avocado oil, chamomile extract, vitamin E, phenoxyethanol, capryl glycol (paraben and formaldehyde free preservative), fragrance and/or essential oil.

My Thoughts:
THIS IS AN AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME PRODUCT! Its definitely a keeper for me! I use it after washing/conditioning as a leave-in and also daily to moisturize my hair. The scent (Tahitian Vanilla) is very light and not overpowering at all, which is good for me because some products bother my allergies. Combined with the Organic Sapote Oil to seal the moisture in, it makes my hair soooo soft. A couple of times, people have asked to touch my hair and in a surprised voice they said, "Oh, your hair is so soft!" and I just graciously said "Thank You", but inside I was beaming because I have my secret weapon!

My Thoughts:
I *HEART* THIS STUFF!!! It works great for my hair. The smell is kinda nutty, but it doesn't linger long. I use it after applying the Murumuru Moisture Milk. It makes my hair oh so soft, plus leaves me with a nice shine. I really like this as a oil for sealing in moisture (it really lives up to the claim made by PBN) because to me, its not too heavy. Again, this will be added to my list to reorder.

I Say: This product WAS a good price, $8 from where I purchased it. I expect to be using it for some time. This was my first time using it and it looks like I didn't even touch it yet. It really was light, creamy & easy to spread throughout my hair. I wouldn't say that detangling was wonderfully easy (Hello Hydration I think is better). I had a few rough spots detangling, but for the most part it did the job well. The future will tell more. For now, here are some pics of my co-wash process I used for this product.

1st Impression: "Wow, this stuff is AWESOME!! The smell is a little strong (found out later that its the Argan Oil). But man, this stuff is goooood!"

After using it for a while: "MUST NEVER GIVE OUT OF THIS STUFF! Definately a keeper/staple. My favorite of all my products I have used thus far (and I have a lot of products)."

Had a converstation with my sister about this product, here's how it went:
Me: "Do you like this product?"
Sis: Looks up from the computer, sees what I'm talking about & says emphatically "YES!"
Me: On a scale of 1 to ...
Sis: Grabs the bottle, looks at it like she's gonna hug it, doesn't let me finish my sentence and says "10"!

The bottle says:
"Our leave-in or rinse out conditioner detangles, moisturizes, repair and restores lifeless damaged hair."

"No Parabens, No Propylene Glycol, No Mineral Oil, No Synthetic Fragrance, No Sulfates"...there's more but these really stood out to me.

"Ingredients: Deionized Water, Shea Butter, Argan Oil, Coconut Oil...Vegetable Glycerin...Sea Kelp Extract, Panthenol (Vitamin B-5), Avocado Oil..." the list of good stuff goes on.

I Say:
I like this best as a leave-in moisturizer. My hair can get dry, I mean really dry, like I slept all night with my mouth open dry. Using this right after a shampoo & deep condition, co-wash* or everyday after spritzing my hair with water/vegetable glycerin
really helps to combat dryness & keeps my hair soft. It's the BEST...and my sister agrees. That's why most of the bottle is gone.

*Co-Wash: To wash your hair with conditioner instead of shampoo. A gentler way to cleanse your hair & not strip it of natural oils, which some shampoos do, especially ones with sulfates. How often to co-wash & with what is up to you...again, DO YOUR RESEARCH & experiment with what works best for YOU!
