So, if you didn't know, last weekend was the Natural Connections meetup. It was AWESOME! I really didn't know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was held at a very nice venue (Tavern on the Lakes) in MetroWest Orlando.

There were 3 salons represented at the event (Estah Loc's & Hair Care Salon, Jill's Natural Hair Studio and Loose Ends Salon).

Also, 2 jewelry vendors showcased their beautiful pieces (T&B Fashion Jewelry and MyRoommatesKloset). Both had very reasonable prices, so much so that I nabbed some uber cute earrings from My Roommates Kloset. They were ONLY $2!!! That's right, TWO BUCKS!

 I also met Shelly Flash and her adorable daughter, who told me all about their very cool t-shirts.

EarthBlend&Flower was another interesting vendor. They actually show you how to make your own all natural products.

CakeintheCity provided some yummy looking desserts from chocolate chip cookie bars to cake on a stick.

Last but not least, I had the privilege to meet Brittany of LocRocker.com and Angela of WiseCurls.com. {Check out Brittany's beauty style for the evening...she calls it the "Reina" which means Queen in Spanish}.

Overall the experience was fun and informative. There was a chance for a Q&A session, where representatives from each salon shared their knowledge with us. I think that everyone left that evening a little more educated about how to take care of our hair.
